Verified Purchase. I started collecting these recently and store them in an altoids tin. I wanted a book with every year made so all the pennies would be in one place. This is perfect.
It even comes with an informational page. I think it is best for amateur collectors, not people who have priceless coins or dedicate their life to this. There are other options out there for those types of collectors however but this was perfect for me. Awesome besides unable to see both sides of penny. This folder was no different. From the minute I took it out of the box, I could feel the high quality materials that were used throughout. Each coin fit snuggly and was easy to position in the appropriate slot of the folder. My coins are now secured, protected and available for display any time I want to take a look at them. Great looking folder easy to put coins in but hard to replace coins with ones that are a higher grade.
I like the folders that have a plastic window that slides over the coins. Window ones are more expensive but worth the extra money in the long run. Window ones are easy to put coins in and take out. Folder has dates and how many were produced. Not all coin folders have this so that is a plus. It is made very solid and the top page is secure, this book is made to last.
I really like the Lincoln penny album. Coin collecting is a lot of fun especially when you find a coin in good or even great condition. This album shows you how many coins were minted in any given year so you can understand the scarcity of a given coin. Even more fun when you add that to your collection.

I like that they are a nice compact way to store my coins. I don't see any problems with durability. I also like the little bits of history included. This folder is sturdy and beautiful.
The stunning backdrop of blue emphasizes the coins. The size is just right, neither bulky or insignificant. Annoying though is how the information flyleaf keeps getting in the way and folds at the ends. Forward after I filled it out with coins. I was dismayed to learn there is no other folder from the publisher for those not minted in to To continue with the series, I decided to use a Harris folder instead.
My take: start with the Harris folder instead. I am donating this to the nearest Salvation Army store - it may still be good enough for a schoolboy's first coin folder.
