I am running Access in a Citrix Windows R. Since the database was move to this Citrix and converter from mdb to accdb, there were different issues until I got stable 9 month ago.
However, recently the users are getting the "Execution of this application has stopped due to a run-time error" very often in different parts of the application. In special, with three forms. I already put an error handler in the problematic subform or a form but now the issue even appear before to open that subform.
I will put error handler today in every component of the form to see if at less that can stop the "Execution of this application has stopped due to a run-time error". What I do not understand it is why this is happening now? I never touch the code before and I did only add more options in a row source for four forms. Any suggestion to what should I look it up will be really appreciate. I am also trying to get another Citrix Server.

What is the value of X? Does the recordset have records? If you compile the accDB to a accDE, then all errors are ignored and some stray error will not shut-down the runtime.
If you run a accDB in the full version, then a un-handled or un-expected error will throw up and out a error message. Needless to say, the simple act of using a accDE will solve all your issues in this regards.
So, while you could go on a wild goose hunt and start introducing error handling, you can well still easy miss some routine, and any error occurring will blow out your application and shut it down.
For the above reasons, I thus STRONG recommend you save world poverty, and simply use a compiled accDE, and all your issues, problems and preventing shutdown of the runtime will go away.
